XL-2520PDC/TR7 is a 2520-packaged (SMT small butterfly) infrared phototransistor, measuring 2.1×2.3×2.6×Φ1.8mm with a black colloid. Compliant with ROHS and MSL Grade 3, it’s suitable for SMT automatic production and infrared reflow soldering process. It has a power dissipation of 100mW, maximum collector current of 50mA, collector-emitter voltage of 30V, emitter-collector voltage of 5V, and 2000V ESD protection. With a peak sensitive wavelength of 880nm, its photocurrent is 300-400μA (compatible with 850nm infrared light) and 500-600μA (compatible with 940nm infrared light), current amplification factor of 200-2300, typical rise/fall time of 15μS, and maximum collector dark current of 30nA. Operating temperature range is -20~+85℃ (storage: -40~+85℃), with soldering requirements of reflow 260℃≤6s or manual 300℃≤3s. Ideal for medical equipment, infrared remote controls, camera monitors, industrial control, infrared photoelectric switches, etc.
