XL-ITR20403 is a through-beam photoelectric switch, composed of an infrared emitting diode and an NPN silicon phototransistor, which are packaged side by side on the converging optical axis in a black thermoplastic housing. It only receives radiation from its own infrared emitting diode (unable to receive when blocked by objects). Featuring high reliability, high radiant intensity, low-voltage drive, fast response time and high photosensitivity, it has a cut-off visible wavelength of 940nm, uses lead-free materials. The input terminal (emitter) has a power dissipation of 75mW, maximum continuous forward current of 50mA, peak pulse forward current of 1A, reverse voltage of 5V, and forward voltage of 1.2-1.5V (IF=20mA). The output terminal (detector) has a power dissipation of 75mW, collector-emitter voltage of 30V, emitter-collector voltage of 5V, photocurrent of 0.2-5mA (IF=20mA, VCE=5V), maximum dark current of 100nA, and typical rise/fall time of 15μS. Both operating and storage temperature ranges are -20~+85℃, with a soldering temperature of 260℃. Ideal for slot machines, small home appliances, automatic sensors, fax machines, scanners, etc.
